For 10 years, the Czech Republic has been among the 22 countries that make up the European Space Agency (ESA) . Its goal is not only to gain new insights into our planet Earth, its immediate surroundings, the solar system and the deep universe, but also to develop and coordinate access to space technologies and applications for Europe as a whole and for its member states. Our science, industrial companies and the public may enjoy the fact that the Czech Republic has definitely not lost in this international organization for the past decade.
